More on the Healthcare Bill

Check this out!

"Take a provision in the Baucus bill that would punish any physician whose "resource use" is considered too high. Beginning in 2015, Medicare would rank doctors against their peers based on how much they cost the program—and then automatically cut all payments by 5% to anyone who falls into the 90th percentile or above. In practice, this rule will only apply to specialists.

Since there will always be a missing chair when the music stops, every year one of 10 physicians will be punished if he orders too many tests, performs too many procedures or prescribes too many drugs—whether or not the treatments result in better patient outcomes. The 5% fine is substantial given that Medicare's price controls already pay only 83 cents on the private dollar."

Let Them Hang Themselves

Have you ever seen a hanging curve ball like the one the Republican Party is currently looking at?

I'm no political expert but the key to victory in 2010 and 2012 seems blatantly obvious yet the Republican Party remains quiet? Is it by design that Michael Steele and team are AWOL? Perhaps. Could it be the implementation of the "Let-Them-Hang-Themselves" strategy?

As a disgruntled Republican who just lived through eight years of "compassionate conservatism" (which left me categorized as a "hateful conservative") I am ready for some action.

Strategy for 2010

In order to win back the Congress in 2010, Republicans simply need to keep up the current "Let-Them-Hang-Themselves" strategy. When it is all said and done, Liberals in this country will set themselves back at least two election cycles as their child-like power grab goes dangerously awry. The stock market will take 10 years to recover, the unemployment rate will take 5 years (if we are lucky) to recover and small business/entrepreneurs will face an uphill battle to create jobs for the next 3 years at least. All of this will be laid at the feet of the Democrat Party despite the efforts of CNN, ABC, MSNBC, NBC and CBS.

Strategy for 2012

Winning back the White House in 2012 requires an even simpler strategy than the 2010 elections. The platform is two-fold:

#1 - Roll back everything Hussein did over the past four years. Presumably, the next President will have a majority in Congress who can pull this off.

#2 - Implement tax cuts across the board and watch the economy take off.

I hope Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Tim Pawlenty and Mitt Romney can hit curve balls!

Who Does This Sound Like?

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
