Once Patients Pay, Health Costs Will Fall

KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.

When a third-party pays all the bills, cost rise. Since most Americans pay a $20 or $50 co-pay when they visit the doctor, no one is asking the doctor, "why do you charge $15 for an aspirin?" or "why do you charge $300 for a simple X-ray?". Because of that, costs rise.

Costs also rise because malpractice insurance for doctors is at an all-time high.

Cost also rise because of frivolous lawsuits.

Cost also rise because of over 2,000 state mandates on health insurance providers (i.e. if you want to sell health insurance in NC or GA or WV, you must offer acupuncture or chiropractic coverage even if the insurer does NOT want it). It's asinine!

How hard is it for the idiots in Washington to understand? The problem is they NOT want to understand; all they want is power and control.
