Does Barack Obama Love This Country?

Earlier this week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani questioned whether Barack Obama loves America. Since actions speak louder than words, let's examine Obama's actions. After reading the list, make up your own mind whether the President loves the country.

If Barack Obama loves this country would he:

• Call for its fundamental transformation? 
• Have toured the world apologizing for the ills of America? 
• Leave the borders open and encourage illegal immigration? 
• Run up the national debt 80% saddling future generations of Americans with astronomical financial hardship and/or the permanent devaluation of the U.S. dollar? 
• Constantly divide the country by race, gender, sexual orientation, and income and pit us against one another? 
• Have repeatedly ignore the Constitution? 
• Maintain economic policies that keep the real unemployment rate at 12% and the labor force participation rate at record low levels? 
• Have repeatedly lied to the American people in order to pass his signature piece of legislation? 
• Have allowed the IRS to harass groups who opposed his policies? 
• Have permitted his spokesmen to lie repeatedly to the American people about Benghazi? 
• Have repeatedly ignored the nation’s most pressing issues – Islamic terrorism, the stagnant economy, the rise of Russia and China, our debt, energy independence, unemployment, dropping median income, inflation - in favor of beer summits, jobs summits, terrorism summits, and golf? 
• Refuse to call our enemy what they are, radical Islamic terrorists?

 

100% Failure Rate - Part III

Back in 2009, I published my first blog proving 100% failure rate of the federal government. In it I highlighted such things as:

Now, with almost six years of the Obama Administration under our belt, I thought it was time to update the federal governments absolutely heinous record of doing anything right. How about these?

State Sucession

Short of a Convention of the States that institutes real reform and real limitations on the federal government's power, secession is the only other recourse we, the people, have from the overreaching federal, now national, government.

The findings of this Reuters/Ipsos poll are not surprising. The growth of Washington's power and wealth is easy to see. It grows regardless of which party is in power. We sit breathlessly each June waiting to hear what 9 lawyers deem constitutional. We allow 20% of our economy to be turned over to the feds despite the fact that socialized medicine produces worse results than our current system. Our national debt is approaching $18 trillion. Bush was "irresponsible and unpatriotic" for taking it from $5 trillion to $9 trillion. Our education system is a disaster. The list of federal failures and corruption is as long as the list of federal agencies: Postal Service, Fannie Mae, Social Security,  Medicare, Medicaid, Freddie Mac, Amtrak, Veteran's Affairs, the IRS, Obamacare, etc.

BEFORE A STATE CAN SERIOUSLY CONSIDER SECESSION, IT MUST WEAN ITSELF FROM DEPENDENCE ON THE FUNDS IT RECEIVES FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and, of course, its citizens must wake up and demand change. Until then, we will get more of the same and worse.

The Obama Slippery Slope

Since the Democrats have no problem with Obama using his pen and his phone to trample the Constitution by making dozens of changes to the Obamacare law, rewriting immigration law, using the EPA to regulate us to death, and cover up scandals that would make Nixon blush - IRS/Tea Party, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, NSA (to name a few), I am looking forward to the day when the next unprincipled, narcissistic, radical, agenda-driven, thin-skinned, asshole Republican President takes over the White House.

We can assume that Democrats will have no problem when the new GOP President uses his pen and phone to:

• Reverse dozens of Obamacare provisions.
• Cut all welfare payments for able-bodied recipients after 90 days.
• Outlaw all abortions.
• Cut the corporate income tax to 11%.
• Fire the Federal Reserve Chairman and appoints someone who will stop the perpetual quantitative easing.
• Abolish the Departments of Education, Transportation, and Commerce, HHS, the TSA, the EPA, the IRS, Homeland Security, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the USDA.
• Order the military to the southern border.
• Increase military spending by 50%.
• Reverse whatever amnesty executive order Obama is about to hand down. 
• Cut the budgets of all remaining government agencies by 20%.
• End the practice of employers' withholding of income taxes. 
• Privatize Social Security.
• Sell 75% of all federal land owned in western states.
• Fund the drilling for oil and natural gas in all 50 states.
• Abolish the federal minimum wage.
• Implement a flat tax. 
• Withhold payment to the United Nations.
• End all foreign aid with the exception of Israel and African nations.

Religion in America

While church attendance in America may be on the decline, religion in America flourishes! Consider the following religions:

• Global Warming
• Abortion
• Environmentalism
• Progressivism
• Liberalism
• Keeping-Up-With-The-Joneses
• In the case of members of Congress, the religion of Remaining-Relevant or Maintaining-My-Popularity-for-the-Georgetown-Cocktail-Party-Circuit
• The most damaging religion in America is that of Party-Above-Reason. This is the religion that worships a political party above all else. Despite evidence of looming bankruptcy, debt and deficits at record highs, record levels of high unemployment, record low levels of labor force participation, dismal economic statistics, perpetual $3.50 gallon of gas, lower levels of income, record levels of food stamp recipients, willful misrepresentation of legislation, lies, deception, cover-ups, cronyism, lack of accountability, record levels of people on disability, and a dead American Ambassador, many Americans refuse to hold the government accountable for its complete ineptitude because their religion precludes them from such.

Pushing an Agenda

How do you gain and maintain power when your agenda conflicts with the majority of the population and you cannot win the debate on its merits? You lie, cheat, intimidate, and bribe.

Lies: Benghazi cover-up. Obamacare is not a tax, your premiums will go down, and it will lower the deficit. Global warming. Claim your opponents are racists, bigots, and homophobic. Fast and Furious. Consequences of sequester cuts. 

Cheating: IRS scandal. Voter intimidation. Illegal voter registrations. Recess appointments. Chrysler bondholders during the GM bailout. 

Intimidation: Gibson Guitar raid. NLRB and Boeing. Occupy Wall Street. Union thuggery. EPA regulations. Fox News reporter James Rosen. Releasing the names of Romney donors on Obama reelection website (some were also audited by the IRS).

Bribery: Record numbers of people on disability and food stamps. Millions receive perpetual welfare payments, housing subsidies, and cell phones. Corporate welfare and bailouts. Crony capitalism.

The Most Transparent Administration in History

“This is the most transparent administration in history” ~ Obama in February.

Let's count the ways:

1. Obamacare – No debate on C-SPAN as promised, the bill was not put online for five days as promised, no one read the bill, it passed the House using budget reconciliation, and bribed senators.
2. Benghazi
3. IRS scandal
4. His college records
5. Fast and Furious
6. Drone attacks

On the other hand, he has been very transparent in regards to his ideological motivations:

1. "I want to spread the wealth around"
2. "Punish your enemies"
3. "I don’t want them punished with a baby" speaking about one of his daughters getting pregnant. 
4. "God bless you” addressing Planned Parenthood
5. "I believe in American Exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."
6. “You didn’t build that!”
7. “It's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion . . ."
8. “Under my plan of cap and trade, electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket”
9. "We can't -- drive our SUVs and you know, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on you know, 72 degrees at all times . . .”
10. "Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller."
11. “I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money”
